You have been asked by your dentist to provide photographs so that we can give you an accurate diagnosis of your dental problem.
For the best results, you will need a smartphone to complete this process. You should use the back camera, which produces much better images than the front camera. If you are alone, you can stand in front of a mirror with the screen facing the mirror and the back camera aimed towards your face. You will need to look in the mirror to see the buttons on your screen.
Alternatively, you can have a friend or family member hold the phone and take the pictures for you.
For the first 3 pictures, keep your teeth together and your lips slightly parted. Hold the phone about 12 inches away from your face.
